Why Visit Burrow Farm Gardens
Photographers and artists are frequent visitors to capture the magical atmosphere of this garden.
Enjoy a snack or light lunch in the tea room.
Purchase many of the plants that you find within the garden from the well-stocked nursery, or visit the gift shop for that special present or card.

Tea room
Relax and enjoy the fabulous surroundings and extensive views from our conservatory and tea room.
Coffee, snacks and light lunches are available all day from 10am, served to your table by our friendly staff.
Delicious Devon cream teas featuring homemade scones are one of our specialties.
Locally made cakes and homemade soup complement our range of freshly made sandwiches.

Nursery
The nursery specialises in hardy plants.
Many of the special plants that you appreciate within the gardens are available to purchase.
A wide selection of shrubs and herbaceous plants can be found alongside some special bulbs and a range of alpines.
The nursery is open to garden and non-garden visitors alike during the normal opening times (1st April – 31st October, 10am – 7pm).
Our friendly staff will be delighted to help you and Mary can provide extensive knowledge to help you choose just the right plant.

Groups & Tours
Pre booked groups of 10 or more can visit the garden at a discounted rate of £4.50pp.
Guided walks can be arranged around the garden conducted by the owner Mary Benger, who has created the entire garden. A meeting room is also available which can accommodate 40 people for lectures etc.
Mary has a variety of talks based on her 50 years at Burrow Farm Gardens which she gives to many gardening groups in the area, particularly in the winter months.
