woodland garden, in a Roman clay pit with fine trees, ponds and
bog garden, combines primulas, iris and other moisture lovers with
the many wild flowers flourishing there. This area is particularly

The pergola walk features old roses and herbaceous plants.
The
terrace and courtyard gardens are colour themed and specialise in
later summer flowering plants.
A
recent addition is the Millennium ‘rill’ garden with a traditional
stone summer house and water feature combined with unusual plants.
